Accounting Competency Challenge (ACC) is an annual accounting event organised by Beta Gamma Sigma Club UUM (BGSUUM). ACC is a competition-based event which aims to challenge the competency of individuals regarding their proficiency in various aspects such as knowledge, interpersonal skill, leadership skill and other soft skills. The main feature of ACC is the challenges that serve to test individuals of their hands-on accounting knowledge and skills. These challenges are specifically designed to closely resemble real-world situations and problems that arise daily in the accounting profession. The involvement of third parties who are the professionals in their respective fields further enriches the value of ACC. Individuals can push their limits further and expand their knowledge beyond the restrictive scope of the curriculum syllabus with the thought-provoking nature of the event. Apart from that, ACC also provides a platform for individuals from all national public and private universities to converse and exchange ideas between themselves and also communicate with corporate figures. Starting from 2020, we push our limits by utilising the virtual platform to provide an opportunity for accounting undergraduates from ASEAN countries to exchange their ideas and have an extraordinary experience. Through this network, a stronger bond will exist between individuals and corporations to facilitate a sustainable collaboration based on the foundation of trust and integrity.
